5:00 pm Boat Parade. Muster off Madeira Park for a 5:30 tour around Pender Harbour. All boats welcome! Prize for vessel showing the most Canadian Spirit!
7:30 pm Harbour Lights – Pender Harbour School of Music. A variety musical highlighting individual performers of the Pender Harbour Choir. Doors open at 7 pm. Admission by donation (suggested $10) at the door.
Saturday August 3
8:00 am until sold out: Breakfast sandwiches!
Pick up a hot breakfast sandwich for $5 and a coffee by donation. Proceeds in support of Lions’ Park.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm: Heritage Boats on Display
Free public viewing of wooden boats at the Madeira Park wharf, as well as displays of small wooden boats and historic marine equipment.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm: Historic Displays, Activities, and More
View displays, interactive demos, local vendors music, as well as local community organizations, crafts, food, theatre, and musicians. Fish raffle draws throughout
the day! Don’t miss honing your fishnet repair skills with fishermen from Pender Harbour.
11:00 am Captain Bill Noon shares his adventure in Finding Franklin’s lost ships – The HMS Erebus and the HMS Terror.Speaker Series at the Pender Harbour School of Music.
11:00 am—3:00 pm: Fun for kids! Face painting by Miss Carla’s Fancy Faces, mini wooden boat building, kids’ crafts.
11:00 am and 1:00 pm: Storytime Theatre in the park. Bring a blanket or chair and settle in for “Storytime Theatre” presented by the Driftwood Players.
12:00 am: Garden Bay Sailing Club Saturday races. Head to the boardwalk to see the start of the Saturday races. Finish line in the same place, time TBD!
12:00 am – 2:00 pm: Hard Hat Diving Exhibition Watch a demonstration of hard-hat diving off the dock and a televised view of the ocean floor.
1:00 pm Where is Pender Harbour? A celebration of 50 years of a major Canadian publishing house…. where? Here, in Pender Harbour! But why? Speaker series, with Howard White, at the Pender Harbour School of Music.
Sunday August 4
10:00 am – 1:00 pm Marine Tailgate Sale Parking Area
Bring your nautical knick knacks and a lawn chair, and clear your basement of sea-worthy items! $10/ car. Set up at 9:30 AM. No registration required. Inquires to phwoodenboatshow@outlook.com

2:00 pm Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society Canoe Raffle Draw. Come find out if you are the lucky winner of the beautiful “Blue Heron” – this year’s community-built wooden canoe. Pender Harbour School of Music
